What is LED Healite II Therapy?

Lutronic’s Healite II is the leading example of a new-generation Light-Emitting Diode (LED) phototherapy system that has achieved new heights in its capacity to promote post-procedure wound healing and recovery. Developed by the guru of LED technology, Dr Glen Calderhead, Healite II harnesses the properties of
830/590 light via LED technology, properly delivered and concentrated, treating effectively without
possibility of physical trauma or thermal damage. This non-ablative skin surface treatment system uses
light delivered through light emitting diodes to deliver pure light in precise wavelengths. The combination
of Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) wavelengths – yellow 590nm and near infra-red 830nm – treats a wide
range aesthetic and medical conditions without heat, ensuring no risk of burning or other damage to
tissue.

What does the treatment involve?
During an LED Healite II treatment your therapist will fit you with specialised goggles and lay you underneath the LED Healite therapy device. The treatment lasts approximately 13-20 minutes and is very relaxing however you may experience a bright sensation.

How many treatments will I need?
The course of treatments will depend on the individual skin concern. The effect of the treatment is cumulative and you will notice a greater improvement with each session. Generally 6-12 treatments are recommended.

How long will the results last?
You will notice improvements for up to six months after your therapy treatment.

Who can have this treatment?
LED Healite II Therapy is safe on all skin types (fair to darker skins) and is safe for use while breast feeding. LED Therapy is not suitable for clients who are sensitive to light, have epilepsy, are using photo-sensitizing drugs, suffer from migraines brought on by light or clients that are currently pregnant.
